If you are a Sales Enablement professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! You will provide our Life Sciences customer facing professionals and their managers with consistent, scalable enablement services and collateral that add value to every customer interaction. Your duties and responsibilities will be completed under the guidance of the Life Sciences Sales Enablement Manager with additional inputs from Life Sciences Marketing, Sales, and Lifecycle Services. You will be passionate about engaging and helping others succeed through clear, consistent, informed communication about how Emerson’s software products and services provide our current and prospective Life Science customers value in this extremely important global industry.

AS A SALES ENABLEMENT SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:
  • Learn and understand the needs of Life Science customers and how Emerson’s new and existing software products and services meet those needs. This is an ever-changing industry that requires constant learning and ability to adapt to those changes.
  • Provide sales enablement services via coaching, training, and support
  • Create sales enablement content via documentation, presentations, and video recordings
  • Frequently collaborate across inter-company organizations, product lines, and all levels of company and customer stakeholders
  • Collect and use data to analyze and evaluate decisions and strategies of sales enablement activities

WHO YOU ARE:
You enjoy helping others through many forms of active engagement and effective communication. You can learn about new subjects quickly and apply this to the overall Emerson portfolio of products and services. You are confident presenting to small or large audiences without being an expert. You relate comfortably with people across roles, levels, functions, cultures, and geography. You can identify and understand situational sales challenges for both customers and salespeople. You are creative, comfortable with change, and not afraid to fail and try something new or different. You set positive but realistic expectations with our customers while maintaining the high ethical demands of Emerson. You can work alone or within a team environment, but comfortable owning a task or project from start to finish when working alone. You strive for improvement of yourself and the organization via measurable results.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field plus a minimum of six (6) years of progressive related Sales or Marketing experience
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of the organization
  • Exceptional service focus, including attention to producing quality, measurable results
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on a team
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
  • Sales Enablement experience
  • MBA preferred
  • Emerson experience in Sales or Marketing
  • Life Science Industry experience
  • Adobe Premier Pro experience – video and audio editing
